There were many attempts by the EU to raise prices but each one failed. It was stated that without a minimum price increase of $20 - $25/t in Asia, all regions including EU, GCC, Turkey, India will struggle. Scrap is low but demand for scrap is not increasing as vehicle/housing production is also down. A factor will be needed for it to stand out.
